Why should people re-read this story?: This is still very much my personal favorite story. It’s not exactly a happy fic, but it has June in all her glory and brilliance as she stands up against the FBI and tries to protect her house and Neal. It’s a story about the difference between the letter of the law and doing what’s right – and also about compassion, freedom, friendship and love.
