Summary: It is said, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Neal tries to return a favor and unwittingly kills a dream.
Why should people re-read this story?: I wrote this before Neal’s relationship with Sara became canon (after the end of S2 but before the S3 premier), but it still reads very true. Of course, some of the details have been Jossed (Sara was from Seattle, not Pennsylvania and her sister’s name was Emily, not Amanda), but the relationship between Neal and Sara – and what they mean to each other holds up.

Summary: Sara returns to New York. Peter, Elizabeth, and June make sure that she gets to spend a little time with Neal. (Part of the Unbreakable 'verse where Neal and Diana were kidnapped and held prisoner for weeks until Peter and Jones rescued them.)
Why should people re-read this story?: This is quite possibly my favorite entry in this 'verse. Sara's concern for Neal and Neal's acceptance of her being there get me every time. I love them as a couple, and I think that relationship is a bond not easily broken, especially in this 'verse where Sara was absent but Neal was healing and needed that time away from her, I think.
