October Theme – Spooky Fanworks

elrhiarhodanIt's time for you to bring out your spooky fics! Stories don't necessarily need to be about Halloween, but there should be some element of creepiness or surprise or fear. This is also the month to self-rec your death and dying fics, too.
Remember - you can recommend one of your fanworks for the theme and the fanwork must be at least six months old (i.e., published before April 2016), but the older the fanwork, the better.

Posts for this theme will be open until October 31. Eventually, your mods will collect the recommendations and add them to the master list.
