Characters/Pairings: Neal & Team
Rating: PG
Word Count: n/a
Theme: Friendship
Original Publication Date: July 27th, 2012
Content Notes: (i.e., warnings or triggers) None
Summary: Neal always has a home waiting for him
Why should people re-watch this vid?: This was one of my first vids, and it's still one of my favorites.  Neal loved to talk about how New York was 'home', but what made it so was all the friends he made there.  He could run away, but they were there for him if he ever changed his mind.  It was true when I made the vid (very early S4), and I think it's still true today.

Rating: PG
Word Count: 8000
Theme: Friendship
Original Publication Date: October, 2010
Content Notes: Reference to canon death of canon character
Summary: Friendship isn’t about distance and boundaries and keeping safe. It can be messy and painful and difficult.
Why should people re-read this story?: This is one of the very few pure Peter-Neal friendship stories I've written, and it was an attempt to recognize the failures of their friendship as portrayed in canon. It's also a sequel to the ficlet, Evocative, but you don't need to read that to understand this story.

It's May and bromance is in the air.

The friendship between Peter and Neal, between Neal and Elizabeth, Neal and Moz, Neal and June and between all of the other White Collar characters is legendary. May is the month to celebrate the friendships that drew us into the show and kept us coming back season after season, so share with us your stories about all of the good friends.

Remember - you can recommend one of your fanworks for the theme and the fanwork must be at least six months old (i.e., published before November 2014), but the older the fanwork, the better.

You can always recommend as many fanworks from other creators as you want to (but do check to see that they haven't yet been rec'd here on [livejournal.com profile] wcredux), and they must also be at least six month old.

Original Publication Date: Dec 10, 2013
Content Notes: None
Summary: It's boring in the van
Why should people re-watch this vid?: This is what happens when I'm bored and apparently have too much time on my hands.  Unlike most other vids, where I try to find the clips that fit the story, here the story originated from the clips I had in hand.

Content Notes: None (unless you count Neal giving Peter a headache a warning....)
Summary: A typical meeting in the White Collar Division….
Why should people re-read this story?: This story sprung out of my head practically complete as I watched a scene where Neal tosses the rubber band ball up and down during a meeting. It’s fun, cracky and, I think, emphasizes Peter and Neal’s relationship.

Characters/Pairings: Peter Burke, Neal Caffrey, Mozzie, Clinton Jones, Diana Berrigan, Philip Kramer; pairings: Peter/Neal, pre-Neal/Jones, OT7, complicated
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: ~ 3.100
Theme: April – Crack/Humor
Original Publication Date: March 2012
Content Notes: Dead bodies, body parts all around, scarring mental images, mentions of porn, animal cruelty (poor sharks!)
Summary: When Agent Kramer tries to fulfill his own agenda in Judgment Day, Peter and Neal’s team has a contingency plan. Kramer is in for a big surprise. AU, not your typical post-Judgment day story.
Why should people re-read this story?: So the characters are OOC and the whole thing was written in a kind of feverish haze… but it still cracks me up every time I read it :D Also all our favorite characters get their gory happy ending.

Content Notes: Dead body, BDSM play (not with dead body!)
Summary: Set after Point Blank, Neal and the Burkes have a little problem with what Satchmo found in their back yard. They deal with it.
Why should people re-read this story?: Because it's hilarious and unexpected and nearly four years later, it still makes me crack up.

Who doesn't like a good joke, practical or otherwise? Fanworks with featuring humor and fun, or are simply cracky, are the focus for April. Please recommend stories and vids and art that make you LOL or ROTFL, or ROTFLMAO, or simply smile.

Original Publication Date: April 8, 2013
Content Notes: Dubious Consent
Summary: Tag to S4.16 – In the Wind. Peter’s bail is denied and Neal does whatever he has to do to keep him safe
Why should people re-read this story?: This story has Peter Whump, Neal Whump, Elizabeth Whump (of the emotional kind), a teeny bit of Mozzie Whump (he consumes milk products). When I started writing it, I though it would be some bit of nasty prison fic, but as the story developed, it became something real and powerful.

Content Notes: Underage Sex (Neal is 17)
Summary: Sometimes the events of your life are like fine wine.
Why should people re-read this story?: This is one of my personal favorites. The lyrics to the song that it’s based on just fit the windows of Neal’s life. It was written for [livejournal.com profile] elrhiarhodan’s birthday last year and was a wonderful partnership with [livejournal.com profile] kanarek13 who created incredible art from my ramblings in chat.

In Ancient History, we learned that Neal's birthday is March 21 (and he's an Aries). For the entire week (March 21 – March 27), [livejournal.com profile] wcredux is asking for recommendations for stories featuring Neal-as-child or Kid!Neal (de-aged) fanworks.

Same rules apply to Special Theme Weeks - one story that you've written, and it must be at least six month old (written before September, 2014).

You can always recommend as many fanworks from other creators as you want to (but do check to see that they haven't yet been rec'd here on [livejournal.com profile] wcredux), and they must also be at least six month old.

Posts for this Special Theme Week will remain open until 11:59 PM on March 27. Afterwards, your mods will collect the recommendations and add them to the master list.

Content Notes: Nothing really.
Summary: Peter finds a cat alone in a building that is about to be burned down and can't help but rescue it.
Why should people re-read this story?:
Well, this isn't a traditional H/C fic but animal cruelty is something that is very sad and although this isn't super depressing, I'm sure that you'll enjoy the vision of Peter with a cuddly cat.

Content Notes: Catholic overtones
Summary: Neal's shooting reminds Peter that faith never truly leaves you
Why should people re-read this story?: This is my first White Collar story and it was prompted by Peter’s comment in Book of Hours about being a lapsed Catholic. I’ve always felt that Peter would revert back to his Catholic upbringing if Neal ever got hurt, and this story is what came out of that thought.
